10 steps to create your memoirs:

1 Free one-hour meeting (or telephone call) to briefly discuss your life story and initial ideas for your book - this information will be used to produce a quotation for total costs,
2 Series of digitally recorded interviews, usually conducted in your home, to help us produce a detailed and structured account of your life story,
3 Transcription of your interviews into text,
4 Editing of the text to turn it into a flowing story; keeping your 'voice' intact, 
5 Checking of facts and historical background,
6 A copy of the first draft for you to check over and remove or add to, as required,
7 Collecting of photographic material and other memorabilia for use in your book, scanning of the images and 'touching up' if necessary, to improve their quality,
8 Design of the book layout, the front/back covers and inserting the images throughout the text in appropriate places,
9 Final proof-reading for outstanding errors,
10 Dealing with the printers and delivering your books to your door.

The whole process takes from four to six months, although it may take a year or more to complete a very detailed life story.

Prices:

Please get in touch so we can discuss your project on an individual basis. 

Payment is in instalments: 50% deposit when meeting times are agreed, 30% when you are happy with the text and the final 20% before printing.
